We will begin our trip with Mycenae after which the Mycenaean civilization was named. During the second millennium BC, Mycenae was one of the largest centers of the Greek civilization and military power.

Of particular admiration are the famous Cyclopean walls, as well as the monumental tholos (vaulted) tombs of the area with the unique finds that are exhibited in the museum, which we will visit. We will continue, with the picturesque Nafplion, the capital of the prefecture of Argolis and the first capital of modern Greece.

Nafplio is also known for Bourtzi, a small fortress and a prison, built on an island in the harbor, and Palamidi, the famous castle that protected the city that we will visit later.

The price includes all entry tickets to the archaeological sites, museums and certified tourist guide. Lunch is not included.
